TO REGISTER A CHARACTER
Create a new thread in the Character Registration board. A form should appear. If it does not, refresh the page. If you still have trouble, please PM an admin.
Welcome to Potterholics Anonymous! Before you get started registering your character, there's a few things you're going to want to check out, such as our rules, plot and frequently asked questions. You can find those as well as some other handy pieces of information in here. Alohamora!
Read all of those juicy threads in the Basic board? Awesome! It's time to create your character, and all you have to do is click on this board. Adoptables as well as housing, job and face claim can also be found in here.
Non-Playing Characters. Everything you need to know about these characters can be found here. We have a guide that you can read to get a better understanding. Feel free to create an NPC if you want!
Good job! If you've made it this far, you character has been accepted! Now, it's time to start roleplaying, but uh-oh - where to start? Plot something out to help get your character acquainted with the board if you want! You'll also be able to find thread trackers in here!

Two stone gargoyles guard a door that leads to a moving spiral staircase that leaves you right outside the door to the Headmaster's office. Plush coaches and chairs decorate the spacious staff and student staff rooms. Don't you wish you could get in?
Three times a day, students are sure to pour down to the great hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner, stuffing their plates and faces with everything they can. On the way inside, don't forget to take a look at the house hourglasses. You don't won't your house to lose, do you?
Here at Hogwarts, students spend a large amount of time in classes, studying all types of magic, the brilliant staff of the school prodding them along and preparing them for the O.W.L.S. and N.E.W.T.S., not to mention whatever happens after all schooling ends (the muggles often refer to it as "real life").
If you're on a quidditch team, then anytime you're not on the pitch or in classes, you're probably here. Or, if you want to spend some time giving the librarian a hard time by sneaking into the restricted section.
Whether you got your foot trapped in the staircase (again) or wanted to check out the Hogwarts' star students from previous years or had to open a clue for the Triwizard Tournament in the prefects' bathroom - you'll be here.
After a long day of working hard, the Slytherins and Hufflepuffs head toward the dungeons and cellars for a good night's rest. If you tickle the right fruit, you might even be able to get a late night's snack.
As for the Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, they head upstairs to look out over the expanse of Hogwarts' grounds, the stars glittering above. Just a staircase over, and you will find the Owlery and the Room of Requirement (well, if you know how to find it).
I see you have some free time on your hands. Well, why don't you take a walk down by the lake or to Hagrid's Hut. Or maybe you fancy a game of quidditch with some mates. Just remember: the Forbidden Forest is off limits.
Ah, need a break from the castle? Yes, yes, well - hurry along. Either shop or grab a drink! There's the ever popular Three Broomsticks as well as Zonko's Joke Shop (always popular with the students). Just remember - don't go into the shrieking shack.
Hold up there! I need to check your wand before you can enter here. If you're not an employee or the Minister himself, being here probably means bad news for you, especially now that they have a hospital wing.
A good amount of time might be spent at Hogwarts or somewhere near there, but everyone has somewhere to go home, if just for the night. If you want a board for your house, post in the Housing Claims thread under Character Information, Claims.
Did you hear who the Headmaster's latest plaything is? You must have heard about the latest dark wizard rising to power seeing as that affects every single person on this board, right? No? You should really click on this then.
Ah, so you want to know about what happened before you even know about Hogwarts, huh? Well, you can find peoples' experiences by taking a dip into this pensive. Please excuse the memories without names. I'm not as young as I used to be.
You've been working so hard making sure your character has a good time, you forgot about yourself! Come kick back and discuss the mundane things of everyday life. And don't forget to come meet the rest of the PA family.
