It is important to respect your fellow role players. If your character is rude, that's one thing; however, when you aren't roleplaying, you should be respectful.

*If you experience any bullying outside of role play, please let an administrator know. Also, don't bring anything up in roleplay or the c-box.*

Post often. I know there will be times when you just can't get on the computer, and that's understandable. If you are simply going on vacation/are ill/etc, please let us know!

That being said, I will require you to post at least once a month. If you don't, your account will be marked as inactive. You can come back at any time and have the inactive-title lifted.

If you think you do not want to be a member anymore, please just let me know but don't delete your account.

It is not my rule, but Proboards, that requires your language to stay PG. I understand if your character has a potty mouth, but please keep it under control. The use of the f-word should be limited.

All students are permitted, and encouraged, to start their own threads. However, when starting a thread, please make it worth posting in for others. Threads containing one post or zero replies will be deleted. Make sure you post in 3rd person. Also, do not change the font color in your posts.

There are three types of spam. Advertising, one-line posts, and canned meat. None of them are welcome at Potterholics Anonymous.

If you spam (advertise) in the halls of this school or via owl, you'll be expelled. If you want to advertise your website, put it in your signature, profile, or affiliate with us.

Spam (one-liners) are annoying and pointless. It is very difficult to reply to this type of spam, and therefore if you do it, I will either delete your post or write you an owl, telling you to modify it. One-liners are only allowed in the out-of-character boards.

Spam (canned meat) is just gross.

Double Posting is when you post two or more times consecutively. Please do not do this. If you feel you have more to say, simply click the ‘modify’ button on your post and add it in.

You will be sorted when you are registered. This cuts out the middle man.

Do not register canons. Canon Relatives are fine as long as their existence is believable and are compatible with any other relative registrations on the site.

Pretty much all rules that apply at Hogwarts apply here.

• No spell casting in corridors/between classes.
  
• Must wear school uniforms during school hours and meals (Unless it's the weekend)
  
• Forbidden Forest is off limits.
  

If you break Hogwarts' rules and get caught, do not be surprised if a professor or prefect comes down on you in roleplay! ;]
